There’s something about a red pleather skirt that makes me feel empowered! Ha, I’m going to blame it on the edginess of this outfit for making me feel that way. Don’t let the pictures fool you: it was below thirty degrees the day we shot this look! The third of my legs that were exposed are still thawing out. But hey, only 72 days until may! I can’t wait.
The inspiration behind this look came to me because of the graffiti wall (pictured) that’s right by my condo in the city. I love the harshness and the contrast between the reds, whites and blacks. So naturally, I had to coordinate my outfit to match. This skirt is from Forever 21, and I actually bought it last year to wear to a Cubs game. I linked a similar style HERE. My Rolling Stones tee is from my favorite store: Free People. You can shop it HERE.
This awesome suede fringe jacket was purchased at Nordstrom Rack several years ago and I have absolutely no idea what brand it was. I just love the style. I got this adorable red corduroy cap from Zara (my fave) and you can find it online HERE. I’ve been obsessing over hats lately and I’m thrilled to see them make a comeback!
I hope you all are having a fabulous Saturday afternoon. Stay warm!!! We’re almost there.
