Happy almost Halloween everyone! Halloween takes a back seat to Christmas as my favorite holiday of the year. In order to get in the October spirit, I’ve been binge watching mystery movies and indulging in way too many pumpkin flavored treats. My favorites include Trader Joe’s Pumpkin O’s, Pumpkin Halo Top ice cream and of course, pumpkin spice lattes (call me basic, but don’t pretend that you don’t love them too!).

My mom and I take holiday festivities very seriously… We’ve been decorating the house since mid-September. Every room has some hints of Halloween. If you think I’m joking you should see our bathrooms. Yes, she decorates even the most undesirable spaces in efforts to get you in the spirit no matter what you’re doing (LOL). But I can’t complain, I absolutely love all the little fall-themed details that fill the nooks of my home.

We also took our talents to Pinterest this year and made some adorable ‘donut’ pumpkins! Below is a picture of the finished product. It was such a fun and easy craft and they look so cute in our family room!

Looking at this picture makes me want to do a Dunkin’ run!

Back to business… My sweater is from Forever 21 and it was only $24 for the coziest and fluffiest off-the-shoulder sweater I have ever felt! It was slightly chilly on the day that these photos were shot, so I threw on some Zara jeans (my #1 shop for denim) and these amazing Dolce Vita over-the-knee boots. I have always had a hard time finding high boots that fit my legs and don’t slouch, and let me tell you these are the ones! They have a silver zipper that rides up the side of the boot and they’re made of suede fabric. I bought them at the Nordstrom sale a few weeks back and it was love at first sight!

The best part about these boots is the price! They’re barely $87! Talk about a fashion steal.

Real talk: I’ve been so inconsistent with blogging recently, sometimes I get so lazy and feel a little uninspired. I’m trying to get back on the horse, I promise 🙂

Thanks for stopping by & reading a little snippet about how my October has been going. I hope that you have a lovely day and do something super fun and happy!

Hi Paige, Love the blog, as usual, being one of your biggest fans.  I also loved the donuts that you made into small pumpkins; so creative.  Happy to see the blog again. Love, Auntie JanetXXX
