Hey y’all!

I feel like I haven’t been posting as much as I had planned lately, but things have been so busy at home! After the end of this week, my schedule is going to allow me to shoot different looks and put more thought into my writing.

This Thursday, my mom and I are going to be in a fashion show for Olivia’s Boutique in Long Grove. We were so excited when Lynne, the store owner, asked us to model in the show. Well, my mom is a little nervous to tell you the truth! I think it’s going to be a fun experience for us. We got fitted in our outfits today and they are absolutely fabulous. Lynne has an eye for selecting unique pieces for her boutique and pairs every outfit with gorgeous hand-made jewelry.

This Saturday is my cousin, Brittany’s, prom and she asked me to help out with her makeup. Of course, I’ll jump at any chance I can get to help add a little sparkle!! However, she’s so gorgeous that she doesn’t even need any makeup to look incredible for her big night!

Soo onto the post… I just started getting into the flair-jean trend. OK- so I may be a tad bit late, but I was always nervous that I wouldn’t pull them off! I personally think that flair jeans should be paired with a very simple shirt. The jeans are meant to stand alone, so I don’t think there should be any attention drawn away from them. My flairs are from Wildfox. They, unfortunately, do not sell jeans anymore. However, since these style jeans are so ‘in’ right now, you can find them anywhere. I prefer buying my denim from Zara or Forever 21 because they have super cheap jeans that will last (in my experience)!

My plain white tank bodysuit is also from WF and you can purchase it here. If you’re not looking to spend too much on one, here is another option for under $10! I’ve been in love with body-suits lately because you don’t have to worry about your shirt coming un-tucked! I think it’s so funny how the fashion cycle works: my mom hated body-suits when she was a kid, and they were so popular! They may not be the most convenient when you have to go to the restroom (Too much info???) but regardless, I’m a fan!

I have an exciting post planned for tomorrow, stay tuned!

XX,

Paige
