Hoppy Easter, bunnies!
I am sooooo thankful to have gotten to celebrate this lovely holiday with my brother, Kyle. His car wouldn’t start Saturday morning (when he was supposed to make his journey home) but luckily he got it started eventually after someone had to come jump it. He was actually born on Easter Sunday (my mom’s water broke in Church, TMI???) So every 11 years, Kyle’s birthday falls on the holiday. My parents always joked that he would become a priest… but obviously we all know that isn’t going to happen (too many skeletons in the closet… kidding!)
We celebrated Easter by arriving late to church, watching the Cubbies take an unfortunate ‘L’ and eating way too many carbs… but it wouldn’t have been the same if everything went perfectly! To us, the little obstacles & shortcomings are what make our family special.
Anyway, I hope that you spent your day surrounded by those who love you! There are so many people who are lucky to have you in their life, don’t forget that.
This dress was sent to me by my fave brand, Peppermayo. My previous post featured a khaki romper that was also from this online boutique! I’m head over heels in love with this off-the-shoulder mint colored mini dress. I’m a really big supporter of the bare-shoulder trend and I think it’s here to stay! I paired this lil number with a rhinestone stud choker from Nordstrom.
My apologies for the extremely brief post, but this girl is suffering from a mild food coma & sugar high crash… I seriously think that I ate my body weight in jellybeans today.
Lots of love!
