Happy Thursday everyone!

Wow- this week has flown by in the blink of an eye. I’ve been swamped with deadlines and exam review that my blog has taken a backseat to school. However, after this week is through, I’m determined to keep it consistent! My goal is to publish 3-4 posts/week (we’ll see how this goes).

Zara is one of my biggest weaknesses. I could spend hours in the store on Michigan Ave. In fact, two weeks ago I was shopping for nearly an hour and a half when I decided I had to peel myself away from the possibility of purchasing things I had no use for (a pineapple purse- really Paige?)

However, with this jam-packed week, I’ve found myself turning to online retail therapy- my recent purchases from Missguided were made after my stats exam- a vulnerable time (I wasn’t in the right mindset). I’m going to post about that order as soon as it comes in!

These pics were taken a few weeks ago over my spring break in FL… boy do I miss that weather! It seems every day closer to spring is more unpredictable here. Two days ago the forecast called for snow and tomorrow is supposed to be 71 degrees. What!?

This mustard colored cropped top is the epitome of badass meets femininity. The lace and frills on the sleeves adds a delicate touch that contrasts with the edginess of the snake-skin print. I chose to wear a black lacy bralette under because the fashion industry has been focusing a lot of attention on ‘intimates’ lately. Unfortunately, Zara is a fast fashion company, meaning they get new inventory every few weeks. I couldn’t find this exact top online but here is a similar one you could pair with high-rise jeans or your fave skirt. The best part? It’s under $50.

Ok, onto my favorite part: this Jack faux leather skirt. I bought it last year at a small boutique in Oxford and I have worn it more times that I can count! Again, this was another tricky one to navigate online. However, BB Dakota (another coveted brand) sells a similar, more plain version here.

My apologies for the blurry pic of my shoes, I was a bit rushed this day. These shoes were a birthday gift from last year. They’re from Valentino and I have been admiring them from afar for ages. There are so many dupes for these shoes that it’s hard to tell the real from the fake. But here’s a link to the ones I have. They are definitely worth it!

Have a lovely day! Xx
