How crazy was that Super Bowl!? I looooove Tom Brady & Gronk so it’s safe to say I’m pretty psyched about it… We celebrated my grandpa Mike’s 75th birthday yesterday also, so it was really nice to reconnect with my family. In case you haven’t noticed already, my family is my world!!!
Ok, onto the post…any excuse to wear a miniskirt and get a little dressed up is fine by me! I’m the biggest girly girl ever so I love wearing heels, especially these ones! I know what you’re thinking… the height is slightly unpractical for any day-to-day activities (duh) but they make a statement to any outfit you choose! I bought these shoes last year, but I’m tagging a similar pair that you can snag online for cheap! I love that this skirt is the exact same color as the tan suede of my heels. You do not have to splurge on suede, I assure. I got this skirt for under $50 from Forever 21. I was attracted to it primarily because the color is very wearable: it goes with so many tops in my wardrobe! Black, white, cream, pink, you name it!
My top is from the line Endless Rose, one of my new favorites. I think it’s so unique because it’s a fun and fresh alternative to traditional lace which tends to get repetitive and a little boring. It looks very sophisticated and classy. Of course, I invested in a nude camisole to wear under it because it is sheer and I’m not that comfortable with myself yet (ha). But hey, you do you.
This little number is perfect for date night, GNO, a fancy city dinner or even a chic party. If your night includes dancing I recommend bringing along a change of shoes… but then again fashion is pain, people!!!
That’s all from me for now! Have a beautiful day. It’s supposed to get up to 50 here in Chicago so I’m definitely going for a lakefront walk.
