Well the time has come: my one month break from school has come to an end. I’ve gotten way too comfortable with being home and I’m dreading the return of class, tests and loads of homework. However, I have been having city-withdrawal and I’m super excited to continue exploring different hot spots in Chicago. Plus, I love having a routine in my life. Needless to say, I have strayed away from my usual schedule since ending school. As much as I love sleeping in until 10 every morning, this chick needs consistency in her life!

This is an outfit that I will definitely be recreating for class. Despite the fact that every time I wear ripped jeans, one person over 50 will always ask me if I need money to buy new pants (I’m talking to you Grandpa Jerry), I love these Paige jeans. It’s super casual, easy and keeps me warm.

I like the contrast of the white belt against the black jeans. I really think it makes the belt pop and is an easy accent to add to any outfit. Hats are also my obsession this winter. They have a way of dressing up every outfit and are a perfect accessory for the winter.

My mom and I absolutely love Olivia’s Boutique in downtown Long Grove. I bought this evil eye wrap choker there several weeks ago and I have been getting great use out of it. We have been going to Olivia’s for years and always find such unique jewelry and clothing there. The owner, Lynne, has a great talent for creating fun and trendy outfits from bohemian and vintage-looking brands like Free People. I would totally recommend stopping by if you are in town!

Hope you had a beautiful Sunday and a great upcoming week!

Hugs,

Paige
