As 2016 comes to a quick end, I thought I’d share a couple of my fave memories from the year! I love reflecting back on my year to see how much things have changed.
Here they are:
Hanging with my besties
There is nothing better than spending a couple hours reconnecting with your BFFs after a long time away from each other! I can not say enough about how incredible these people are. Every moment I spend with them is filled with laughter and they are so special to me.
Spending the summer with the fam
They are my everything! Enough said.
Shopping on Michigan Avenue
If you are from Chicago or have ever visited, then there is a 99% chance you have been shopping on Michigan Ave. There are so many stores that I adore that call Chicago home!
Vacation: Cruising the Atlantic
Okay, this has by far been one of the most enjoyable vacays I have ever experienced. First off, the weather was absolutely beautiful every day. We took this trip with my second cousins who I absolutely adore. I couldn’t have asked for better travel companions!
Another favorite destination of mine is California. My uncle has lived out here since he graduated college a few years back 😉 and I absolutely love flying out to visit every year! My mom and I love going to the Wildfox store on Sunset Blvd, it is gorgeous and we so proud of my uncle Jim for putting this all together!
Halloween in Long Grove
Besides Christmas, Halloween has been my favorite holiday since I was a little girl. My family gets waaaaay into decorating and we go all out on our costumes for our parties! This year I dressed up as a deer and an alien for one of my mom’s annual parties.
Cubs in 7
I have been a die hard Cubs fan my whole life (thanks to my dad!) so I was ecstatic when they pulled off a ‘W’ for game 7, winning it all. I adore Chicago and all of its sports teams! (Except the White Sox, of course)
Ringin’ in the holidays, Friedrichs style
My mom is the greatest decorator, check out the Cubs tree! I have had such an awesome year and I hope you did too! Let’s see if 2017 can top it!
Thanks for the mems 2016!
